Understanding (Risk Factors & Determinants) Cluster Meeting

On October 15, 2024, the annual Understanding (Risk Factors & Determinants) Cluster meeting took place in Lyon, France, hosted by the DISCERN project. The ELMUMY project was represented by Prof. Makis Zoidakis from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
The event began with an opening address by the EC Project Adviser Dr. Laura Garcia Ibanez, who shared key updates, expectations, and insights from the European Commission. Following this, representatives from the five collaborative projects — GENIAL, LUCIA, ELMUMY, DISCERN and MELCAYA —delivered presentations outlining their progress and achievements over the past 18 months.
The next cluster meeting is set to take place in 2025, with the MELCAYA project hosting the event in Barcelona, Spain.
